Our Mission Statement:
The RICOFIRERESCUE web site and their hands-on national programs entitled Fireground Rapid Egress: Tactical Survival, Fireground Search: That Others May Live, Commanding The Mayday and Rapid Intervention Operations, Rapid Intervention Company Operations (R.I.C.O.) and RIT Air Pack Management are some of the finest training disciplines available in the USA. RICOFIRERESCUE INC. is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization dedicated to proactive training in the areas of firefighter rescue and survival as well as providing training in many other fireground behaviors. It is geared towards all members and ranks within the fire service and carries no political affiliation to any department or organization. Its sole purpose is to provide training and information that is dedicated to saving firefighters lives. It is hoped that this site and its affiliated hands-on courses will help provide sincere proactive and interactive skills on the fire ground for the fire service community.
The components of RICOFIRERESCUE and the hands on courses entitled Fireground Rapid Egress: Tactical Survival, Fireground Search: That Others May Live, Commanding The Mayday and Rapid Intervention Operations, Rapid Intervention Company Operations (R.I.C.O.) and RIT Air Pack Management are intended for all levels and individuals involved in fire and rescue activities. RICOFIRERESCUE INC also provides through the John Wood Community College fire science programs accredited college credit hours in many circumstances which are recognized and transferable into various college fire science programs throughout the country. One of its main objectives is to develop the abilities of firefighters, officers and chief officers within the fire service to provide for the protection and rescue of any firefighter in distress-to bring everyone home, no matter what. We encourage all firefighters to pursue and train on the information and hands-on training that RICOFIRERESCUE provides. We also encourage everyone individually to pursue working together in order to provide the teamwork necessary in keeping ourselves safe on the fire ground.
